There are only 12 days until I leave for Gainsville, GA, and praise the LORD, just today I hit the 75% mark for fundraising! In the past few weeks as the summer has slowed down, I’ve had a lot more time to process a little more the reality of this upcoming semester. There are still a lot of unknowns about the exact details of this trip, and honestly, that can be worrying and hard sometimes. All summer long at my church, the preschool-5th graders have been learning about faith and what it actually looks like in everyday life. In no way am I saying that my faith is perfected or that I’m good at trusting God with every situation, no matter what, but it’s been really cool to come off of a whole summer teaching these kids about faith and of course learning so much about it myself. One thing that really stuck out to me is that no. matter. what. the LORD has a plan, and that plan is perfect. He has known every second of my life since the beginning of creation, and He loves me more than anyone ever could. Praise the LORD!

Ok. That’s all I got for right now because, honestly, I have been writing this one, single blog post for the past hour and a half, and if I try to write anymore, I might break my computer. Why has it taken me this long to write two paragraphs? I keep getting distracted by the Little League World Series, so I definetly did this to myself, but c’est la vie.
